Our History

Even though founded recently, precisely in 1989, The Bucci Group has industrial roots that grow out of a 50 year long history.

We speak of “roots” because the Bucci family has agricultural origins. In fact when the Bucci family decided to start its industrial activities it was still a family of farmers.
It was right after the 2nd World War that the generation prior to today’s management, decided to face a new type of business and discovered its industrial vocation, moved by a succession of those occasions that sometimes happen in life.

The Bucci Group was founded by the union of the savings of the Bucci family members under the name of a single entity: Carlo & Massimo Bucci & C, Sapa. This reorganization led to the creation of the Holding company which is at the head of the two main business areas of the Group: the Security area and the Machine Tools area. These two business areas are in turn controlled by two financial companies that control many other companies.

Since the Group was born the business has always been run by the Bucci family.
Today, however, as a cause of its constant growth, many managerial roles have been delegated to qualified professionals outside of the family according to standard organizational methods.
